Gene2Farm
From 2012-01-01 to 2015-12-31, ongoing project
Gene2Farm aims to derive complete genome information for identifying variations among bovine genomes, to optimise SNP genotyping panels and explore further the use of bovine genomic selection. With this in mind, the consortium is producing new genotyping data, together with whole genome sequence data, on a certain number of individuals within various European cattle breeds.
